Return & Exchange

Return/Exchange method

Please contact HAKKO’s Customer Support Division at sales@hakko.com.sg or at (065) 6748 2277 during regular business hours (8:30 – 17:30) to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) before returning the product to HAKKO.

Kindly prepare the following information when requesting a RMA number:

  • Customer number
  • Order number
  • Serial number of product (if applicable)
  • Reasons for return
  • Requested services: return/exchange
  • Condition of goods

Conditions for return/exchange

All returns/exchanges must be done within the 30-day return period. Failure to return your product within this return period will be deemed as an acceptance of the product.

All merchandise must be returned in the original selling condition, including all original boxes with packing materials, manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories, invoice(s) and any other documentation included with the original shipment. RMA approval is contingent upon, among other things, the products being in the same condition when delivered.

Customer is responsible for the shipping charges to HAKKO’s premises for all products being returned. Products exchanged will be shipped by HAKKO to Customer, at HAKKO’s expense.

Customer is responsible for all risk of loss and damage to products being returned. Please fully insure the return shipment in case of loss or damage and use a carrier that provides proof of delivery such as UPS or FedEx. We will send a confirmation e-mail upon receiving the returned products.

All sales of special items are final. No cancellations or returns will be accepted after the order has been placed for such products. Special items are those specified as non-returnable product during purchase, made-to-order, or are no longer supported due to discontinuation.

Money will be returned to the original account within 15 calendar days.

Warranty Policy

Hakko Products Pte Ltd provides warranty services for all products for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. No warranty shall apply to products that have been damaged, altered, abused, improperly installed and/or maintained, repaired after purchase, or have had their identification markings removed or altered in any way. No warranty shall apply to consumables (such as tips, nozzle, blades, metal parts, filters and the like). All warranties are not transferable.

HAKKO’s warranty obligation shall be limited to repairing or replacing any product determined to be defective. Replacements may include new or factory refurbished products. HAKKO reserves the right to inspect any product to determine whether such product has failed due to a defect in material or workmanship and all warranty claims must also comply with the PROCEDURES FOR WARRANTY CLAIMS set forth below. Onsite labor costs are specifically excluded under this warranty.

Repair or replacement provided under this warranty shall be the exclusive remedy for any claimant. HAKKO shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, special or indirect damages (including but not limited to damages for loss of profit or business interruption) arising from the of the use of or the inability to use such product.

All claimants must obtain a MRA number from HAKKO before any equipment is returned. Returns without a RMA number will not be accepted. Each claimant is responsible for all shipping charges (to and from HAKKO) and any applicable taxes and/or duties. Proper information must be provided on all units that are being returned. Hakko will provide no warranty service if the claimant fail to show the proof of purchase. Full compliance with these procedures lies solely with the claimant.
